Congratulations to Kaelyn Kraft for winning student of the month! Her nomination said she engages actively in class discussions and stays on task during work time. Congratulations to Laura Heinle for winning student of the month! Her nomination said she works diligently every day, never complains about doing her schoolwork, is modest and respectful, and always has a good attitude even when she is sick. She will also be representing her class for the spelling bee. Congrats, Laura!


Congratulations to Lucas Lynn for winning student of the month! His nomination said he is a very sweet and polite boy. He is always willing to try to do his best. He always has a smile on his face and is willing to help out. Congrats, Lucas!


Congratulations to Trevor Stoppleworth l for winning student of the month! His nomination said he is a great leader in the classroom, always gives 100% on his work, and will always lend a helping hand. Congrats, Trevor!


Congratulations to Madelynn Nagel for winning student of the month! Her nomination said she is an outstanding student, as well as a good person. She repeatedly is willing to help other students in her classes if they are struggling or having a problem. She is also an excellent athlete and a wonderful representative of our school. (And she is currently having an excellent gymnastics season. Congrats, Madelynn!

Elementary Newsletter 1/22/24


The JH Students in Ms. Stoudt's English class had a guest presenter from Fort Seward Jennie Provorse, a representative of Fort Seward, showed the middle school students how several Americans dressed during the Victorian era. Jennie is an expert in clothing and customs of the era.











There have been some changes to the boys' basketball games in Medina on Thursday, January 18 vs. Kidder County. Kidder County is dealing with some injuries/illness and is short on players.
Junior High will begin at 4:30 (4 quarters)
JV will begin at 6:00 (only 2 quarters of JV will be played)
Varsity will begin at approximately 7:00 PM

Elementary News 1/16.


There will be an optional archery practice today from 4pm - 5pm at the Hansen Center located on the University of Jamestown's campus. The first practice is this Thursday (1/18) from 4pm - 5pm at the Hansen Center.


Reminder: There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 15th.


A special thanks to our reunion committee for donating money to our elementary and high school libraries. Multiple copies of Connie Krapp's Ozzy Ox sets of books were purchased for the elementary so that her books can be in our library and in some of the classrooms. Thank you for the special delivery, Connie!



The 8th graders learned how to use the 3D printer in Ms. Dietz's class. Their projects turned out great!






Today, Multi-Media students got to tour Prairie Public in Fargo. They learned about studio and audio recordings, radio stations, and current and future educational opportunities available to students. The students had a great experience!











The JV/Varsity GBB games scheduled for tomorrow in Ellendale will be held at Trinity Bible College. There will only be 2 quarters of JV, therefore the Varsity game will begin at approximately 7:00 PM. Also, there will be NO CONCESSIONS served. Please feel free to bring your own snacks.
